The US debt is no laughing matter.  It hasn’t been for a long time.  Under Biden, the US Debt surpassed $30 billion about a week ago for the first time in history.

The Populist Press reported this morning:

The world’s richest man couldn’t hold a candle to the United States government’s dues.On Thursday evening, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk noted that the national debt — which hit a record high of $30 trillion last week — is not sustainable.

Musk commented on a tweet by the very bright and creative The Babylon Bee.  The ‘Bee’ tweeted, “Biden Goes Double Or Nothing On National Debt By Placing $30 Trillion On The Bengals”.

True national debt, including unfunded entitlements, is at least $60 trillion – roughly three times the size of the entire US economy. Something has got to give.

Years ago the national debt was approaching $100 trillion when you add in unfunded liabilities – those promises made to Americans in the form of social security, Medicare, and Medicaid.  It’s likely much more than that now.

This country is such a mess right now.  The politicians in DC are insane and lost.  There is no outrage about the absolute destruction of our country.
